Formitus Solutions Meet Non-Profit Needs

Making The Connection

When you travel the world you get an opportunity to meet many different people. Everyone has their own unique story, unique passions, challenges, and vision. In 2009 Formitus traveled to Nicaragua to work on an micro-enterprise project. Nicaragua is a beautiful country, regardless it’s also considered to be one of the top two most economically impoverished countries in the Western hemisphere (along with Haiti).

While visiting the Central American country Formitus met the Director of the Imagine Ministry, who leads an emerging ministry working with a community outside of Managua, the capital city. After returning State side Formitus remained in contact with the emerging inspirational team.

Understanding The Need

It soon came to the attention of Formitus that the Nicaraguan based team was ready to move forward with a web based marketing initiative. The initiative is seeking outside support for children needing sponsorship. Likewise The Imagine Ministry was looking for a web based solution where they could update friends, family, and supporters to the latest development efforts that they were engaged in.

After consultation it was determined that the first step in the ongoing web based effort was to develop a website. Early stage not-for-profit organizations have limited time, creating a website that was both affordable to maintain and easy to manage was really important. Furthermore the vision of the ministry leadership required the website to be robust enough to expand, quickly, cost effectively, and with relative ease.

The project was a perfect opportunity for Formitus. Not only did we have the perfect solution for The Imagine Ministry, we were also deeply inspired by the team, the ministry, and the desire to make a positive impact in the world. Formitus worked with the team over several weeks to create the website while the logo was provided by a team member from the Imagine Ministry.

Equipping The Team

Formitus invested the necessary time to coach the new site owners on adding content and expanding the pages of the site. We are continuing to work with The Imagine Ministry as the needs arise and provide on going support.  Our work with the Imagine Ministy is driven by a passionate resolve make a difference and provide premium services to everyone we work with.

Expanding, One Step at a Time

The content is continuing to be written for the site by the Nicaraguan based team, and the site is being added to as the opportunity allows.  Like most non-profit organizations there is not an over abundance of time available.  Over time the site will be expanded further to allow individuals who support The Imagine Ministry to engage in additional ways.
