Wordpress Upgrades to 2.9

That’s right, you may have noticed the some-what annoying yellow banner at the top of your admin panel urging you to upgrade (or inform us to upgrade) to Wordpress 2.9. It’s always exciting to upgrade and experiment with the latest releases of Wordpress (for us anyway). Over the next few weeks we will be doing just that, before we do, we always make an effort to ensure your website will not be impacted adversely before the upgrade takes place.

Theme & Plugin Compatibility

Wordpress, themes, and Plugins are always upgrading. If Wordpress upgrades and a plugin that you are using isn’t compatible, the plugin can crash. When a plugin crashes it can limit some or even all functionality to a site. There are a variety of reasons that this happens, some good, others not so good. In short we like to ensure that your website remains in tip-top condition and we test latest releases with a great variety of plugins before we haphazardly upgrade.

As soon as we are confident that your site will upgrade without adverse results, we upgrade your site to the latest release.
